We're asking for donations instead of presents for Ellie's first birthday, because she is lucky and has everything she could need, and it feels fair to give to help others. We hope you don't mind!

We are donating to Helen House, as they do amazing work, and sadly we know a baby, born the same month as Ellie, who is a patient there.

Baby Beatrice's mum was part of the same online support group of pregnant mums as Emily, all due in the same month, and after Bea was born with a life limiting brain disorder the whole family has shown amazing strength. We'd like to give to the hospice that helps Bea, so it can continue to help others.
