Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

A few years ago I swam the length of Lake Zurich (26km) in memory of Baby Alfie, and to raise money for the hospital that tried to help him before he passed away. I wanted to take on a bigger challenge this year, towards my swimming the channel solo next year.

After Nepal's horrendous earthquake, and the continual problems Sierra Leone face with Ebola, I couldn't indulge in swimming in water clean enough to drink, whilst so many people in the world drank polluted water, a moment longer.

Starting with the Henley Classic (which I did two weeks ago), I want to complete four open water swims around the UK that will roughly amount to 50km. They are:

Henley Classic 2.1km

River Dart 10km

Henley Bridge to Bridge 14km

One leg of Channel Relay Crossing 44km/3 approx

And to make it up to 50km....

One more swim of around 5km tbc

If you fancy it, I would love it if you could get behind me with a little sponsorship, as it really does help grind away at the monotony, to know there's a bunch of people on dry land rooting for you. You could either sponsor per event, per km, or as a grand total - anything to get me to £700 plus would be amazing.
