Elm Tree Farm - WSP Volunteering day

Story
Hello! We are the ITS Systems and Infrastructure Group Leadership Team at WSP. We believe in giving something back to our community, which is why we are taking a day out to volunteer for Elm Tree Farm.
On the 16th June we will get out steal-toe capped boots, our gardening gloves, our drills and sunscreen (yes, we are optimists!). We will do anything from painting, installing skirting boards to gardening and general DIYs that are required on the day.
Why are we doing this? Elm Tree Farm is a vibrant organisation that uses organic farming methods to grow nutritious produce and breed a range of livestock. But more amazingly, they provide training and employment to around 80 people with learning disabilities.
Elm Tree Farm practices Care Farming, which is the therapeutic use of farming practices, utilising working agricultural farms and smallholdings to provide health and social care for individuals with additional needs. This means they work with adults and children with learning disabilities and autism.
We believe in helping our community, Elm Tree Farm has done a fantastic job helping others and now it's our time to pay it back.
