St Elizabeth Hospice improves life for people with a progressive illness. Our work centres around individual needs, with specialist support, wherever required, at home, in the community or at the hospice. Each year the hospice needs to generate £12.9m, of this 70% comes from the local community.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Hello again. What is this all about then? My name is Simon Goldsmith and on May 7th 2010 my low-budget Elvis tribute act, Harry Isaac Presley, will endeavour to break a Guiness World Record. That record is 'The Worlds Longest Elvis Singing Marathon' and all the details can be found on my website at www.harryisaacpresley.co.uk .

Absurdity aside, the goal of this attempt is to raise as much money as possible for the amazing St Elizabeth Hospice in Ipswich. The hospice staff were fantastic to our family and my Dad as he spent his final weeks there last April and this is our way of saying thank you to them.

Please help me to support the St Elizabeth Hospice by donating to the cause via this page or coming down to the Ufford White Lion on May 7th, 8th or 9th to watch a grown man cry or possibly collapse. Or simply do both.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and I sincerely look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

Simon and Harry Isaac Presley
