UPDATE 30/05/09

I DIT IT!!!!! I rode all the way to Paris... well i did push it up afew hills!! but i got there!! My legs will never be the same again and i have a new found respect for the tour de france lot!

On a serious note it has been the most amazing and challenging week of my life. I have met some amazing people and been toally humbled by the strength of character and humour our troops can show in the face of life changing injuries. I have been overtaken by a marine with one leg, a riffleman on an arm bike.. and some crazy paras on a tandom!

I have definately earned every single penny you can afford to donate, and so to have the troops that it will go to support. So dig deep, and think of my burning quads!!!

On 24th May this year i will be cycling 350 miles across france via the WW2 battlefields and the D day landings!!! This is going to be a HUGE personal challenge as i have not been on a bike since i was 16 and fell off!! You may think i am crazy to do this but when you see the work Help for Heroes are doing for our wounded troops it puts everything into perspective. These guys are so brave and i want to show my support for them all.

My boyfriend is currently serving in Afganistan, and while i hope he never needs it, i really want to do my bit for our Heroes in the forces. My original target was 2000 but with everybodys generosity i have reached that already!! Thank you so much... ive now upped my target to 3000!! While i may not be the best cyclist on the challenge (by a very long shot!!) i would love to make up for that by getting the most money in!! Please help me!
