BUPA Great North Run 2009 · 20 September 2009 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Im running for the Stroke association to help their work into reducing strokes, a common condition affecting many peoples lives. I have come accross strokes alot at work and feel more could be done to help those affected by them. Its the only Uk charity solely concerned with helping everyone affected by stroke.

The run's 13 miles, I did a warm up run with my friend Gemma at the sunderland 10K run, there were bands and lots of support, reccomend everyone to do that too(even if you don't like running you'll enjoy the day).

Thanks

love Emma :)
