Hi Everyone,
Rescheduled to 27th July!!
Thanks for visiting our fundraising page. Due to strong winds on our planned dy of the jumpy, Emmi Matsunaga and Luke Reddington are now doing a tandem skydive in aid of the British Lung Foundation on Sunday 27th July 2008 at Brackley Airfield in Oxford, and we need your help!!!
One in seven people in the UK has a lung disease.
We will be jumping out of a plane at 10,000 feet, harnessed to a professional parachute instructor, and then freefall through the air at over 120mph! Sounds scary eh!!
There are over 40 lung conditions, and the British Lung Foundation is the only UK charity that works for all of their sufferers - from mild asthma to lung cancer.
We each have to raise a minimum of £395 (£790 in total) to give to this worthwhile cause, and we need you to dig deep and give generously to help us reach (and hopefully beat!) this target. By giving to us you will be giving to the 1.4 million people that this charity directly helps every year, and plenty more people who are helped with the work this charity does.
This charity invests around one million pounds a year in research projects aiming to improve the diagnosis and treatment of lung conditions.
So please help us and give anything you can. Remember, any donation is greatly appreciated - and let's face it, you all want to see us jump out of a plane really!
Thanks alot for reading (and hopefully for giving!)...
Emmi and Luke xx
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: British Lung Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Just to let you know, the funds raised from this website will be split for both of us. SO GIVE!!
