Story

Hello,

Thanks for visiting our page!

We went to Kenya in August 2011 for a wedding of some friends, and had a brilliant trip. We were aware however, that whilst we were enjoying this spectacular country, not far away there were millions of people in desperate situations.

The British Red Cross are continuing to appeal for funds which they are using to provide emergency food aid for some, and to help others recover their livelihoods after the recent drought, famine and conflict. They also support feeding programmes in schools which in turn encourage the children to attend. They are working with communities across the region to help them become more resilient to future threats to their livelihoods.

We would be delighted if you would consider joining us in making any donation to The British Red Cross in celebration of our wedding.

We are so looking forward to seeing you all on the day in May!

Many thanks,
Ems and Simon x
