Story

Hello! Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. Now you're here and can see the determination on my face in this lovely little photo please please make a donation.

I'm not a natural runner and frankly I'm a little worried about what I've let myself in for but I'm doing this for UNICEF UK and the great stuff they do .

The money I raise will support UNICEF's "Born Free From HIV" campaign, helping UNICEF ensure that more babies are Born Free from HIV in poor countries.

Almost every minute of every day a baby is born with HIV in a poor country. Many will die before their 5th birthday . For as little as 68p UNICEF can provide drugs needed for both mother and child during labour and birth that can significantly reduce the risk of a mother passing HIV to her baby.

UNICEF is not funded by the UN, instead it relies on voluntary donations to fund their work for children worldwide (currently operating in 150 countries).

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: UNICEF UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer don't forget to GiftAid!

So please sponsor me now!
