Story

Well done esure4U Dragon Boat Team - we didn't win, BUT we did come runner-up in each of our 3 races!
We were also congratulated by the organisers for returning several of the paddles still dry and being the first team in the history of the event to introduce a “scenic route” to a race which is traditionally run over a straight line. Our timing and rhythm was also compared to Bananarama’s dancing for those of you old enough to remember that sort of thing.
Nevertheless we were all winners because it was all done for CHA-RA-TEE !
(commentary supplied by Steve Dunlop - man wearing a Viking helmet, pink tutu and bright blue sunglasses also, THANKS to Martin Harvey for providing some good pictures too!)
