The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing, we're doing whatever it takes to help more people with cancer get the best care the UK has to offer, whoever and wherever they are. To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  I am going to be cycling with Les gars dans lycra, a bunch of wonderful lads who have charity in their hearts and energy to burn. We were inspired to take on this epic adventure following the sad loss to our good friend Carl Fuller's family.

We shall be cycling 550 miles in 8 days with the intention of making a genuine difference to the lives of those who are helped by Macmillan on a daily basis. As a team we hope to raise £5,000.

Macmillan do a wonderful job at supporting those coming to terms with cancer, be it the individual, their families and their friends.

What does your donation allow Macmillan to achieve?

£3,333 could keep a Macmillan cancer information and support centre stocked with all the information resources it needs to support people affected by cancer for a year.

£350 could pay for a convalescent break for someone with cancer and their carer.

£51 could buy a liquidiser for someone who can't eat solid food as a result of their cancer treatment.

£17.50 could pay for one more member of a cancer support group to go on a social event with other support group members.

So quite literally, every donation can be helping many others out there!

Thanking you.
