Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This page has been set up by a group of mums that became friends with Sue (Ethan's mum) when we all first got our positive pregnancy tests. Since then, we have been through all our pregnancy milestones together, birth stories, given each other help and advice and so much more. Sadly, on the 2nd May 2014, Ethan passed away after having a seizure linked to his epilepsy. We are doing everything we can to raise awareness and fundraising for Epilepsy Research UK.

About Ethan

Ethan was born on 31st January 2013 to parents Sue & Gavin Carter. Known as "laughing boy", he was constantly smiling and an extremely content little boy known for his infectious smile! He sadly leaves behind his brother Taylor & sisters Hannah & Evie, all whom loved him very much.

What is SUDEP?

Every year, roughly one in every thousand people with epilepsy will die suddenly with no obvious cause. This is what we call Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy or SUDEP. Thankfully the risk of SUDEP is low, but will vary from person to person.

Ethan's family have chosen this charity to help families and children struggling with Epilepsy in the UK.
