Story

On Saturday 11th July 2015, Eve and Kai completed their 'Nightmare Challenges' to help raise money for Dewi's Dreams. After helping raise more than £2,500 and hearing that Dewi is only £7,000 away from his operation, Eve and Kai have decided to rise to another challenge! On Sunday 22nd November 2015, Eve and Kai will be doing the Conwy Half Marathon. Please donate what you can, and support them through their latest challenge! Read on to find out why this is such an important challenge...

Dewi James is a 3 year-old boy from Pontypridd, Wales. Like every other little boy Dewi wants to be able to jump, run, kick a ball and live life without pain. But unfortunately all of these things are very difficult for Dewi to do.
Recently Dewi was diagnosed with Diaplegia Spacicity Cerebral Palsy - this effects his walking, ability to balance and makes him tired very easily. There is an operation that will help Dewi considerably however, called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR), but unfortunately the NHS in Wales is only funding 8 children per yer to have this operation. This has left Dewi and his family with no choice but to raise the money themselves, with the help of donations from people all across, not just Wales, but worldwide.
Please sponsor Eve and Kai here, and also check out the 'Dewi's Dreams' page also: https://www.justgiving.com/DewisDreams/
