Farnham 1000 mile Cycle Ride in 100 hours has been setup by a small local Farnham team who want to raise £ 15,000.00 for Phyllis Tuckwell £ 5,000.00 for Disability Challengers and purchase a defribrillator for the Hale area as part of Farnham Lions Heartstart Campaign. We hope to achieve this target with six riders split into two teams ridding 1000 miles day and night over 100 hours. Our route will take us from Farnham up towards  North Wales down the Welsh Coast on into Dorset and then back along the South Coast via Chichester finally returning to Farnham. This event will start on Tuesday 24 June from Castle Street and finish with the Carnival procession at 6pm on Saturday 28 of June.

 

An event like this cannot be undertaken without a support team, so we have a support vehicle with two drivers, a sponsorship support team and technical backup team back in Farnham everyone contributing to the success of this adventure. All monies raised will go to the Charities the event is being financed by those taking part so please dig deep and tell your friends that you have helped three fantastic Charities in Farnham by sponsoring us. We would like to thank the Lions of Farnham for hosting our Just Giving page ensuring that we are able to take full advantage of Gift Aid when appropriate.
