After our last two charity walks in 2012 and 2013, we are fundraising for Aryana Aid this year. We have chosen to fundraise for their orphan’s project.  Aryana Aid is a volunteer led charity registered in the UK (1130232), working to improve the lives of orphan children, ordinary men and women in Afghanistan.

We both feel very passionate about this cause and hope to reach to as many orphans as possible. These orphans have lost their parents through decades of war, hunger and diseases. With your help we could build their life.

And for some of you as it is your month of fasting (Ramadan) where every good deed is multiplied in many folds, let's remember the orphans of Afghanistan by helping to make a difference to these innocents lives whose fasts never ends.

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said, "I will be like this in Paradise with the person who takes care of an orphan". He, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) raised his forefinger and middle finger by way of illustration. [Al-Bukhari]

"And they feed, for the love of Allah, the poor, the orphan, and the captive..." [Quran chapter (Surah) 8]

These poor orphans are growing day by day- Let’s help them to grow with good health, good manners, good education, clothing, safer homes and some happiness. And we believe through better human beings we could have a better world.

You could either do a one off donation at any amount or sponsor an orphan for the whole year at £300 (£25 per month). The charity will provide updates and give full report of the orphan to the sponsor every six months.
