Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. As you may know, I was diagnosed with Renal Cell Cancer in September 2010. Once metastacised (spread to other parts of the body) it is terminal. Unfortunately I fall into this camp. However new drugs are being discovered all the time which will eventually find a cure for this illness - I'm trying really hard to be there when they do!

For those that have ever worked with me, know that I always delegate difficult jobs to others - this is no exception.

A few mates have decided to get on their bikes and do something that's challenging (especially for fat blokes), fun and worthwhile.

At some point in the future - and I'm trying hard for it to be a while yet - I'm going to need the help of these Macmillan folk - so for me, a bit of enlightened self interest.

It's extraordinary that these guys are going to go from being beer swilling, car driving couch potatos into lean, finely honed atheletes in such a short time (we hope).

Dig deep, maybe forego one meal out, who knows? But please give generously as we've set a completely unachievable target, but here goes......
