Story

Dear all,

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page supporting Cancer Research.

When I was 8 I was hospitalised with a bone disease called Osteomyelitis fortunately, after a stunt in hospital I was lucky enough to leave. Whilst I was in hospital I made friends with a lovely girl on the same ward as me, Hannah who very sadly had Lukemia. A month after I left hospital I heard that Hannah had also left and was in remission but a year later she passed away at such a young age.

At 8 years of age I was not aware of what exactly Cancer was but as I have grew up it has touched more and more peoples lives, those who are close to me and my family. I have therefore, decided to complete the Great North Run (Half a marathon) for Cancer Research - 12 miles is a challenge for me but for those who know me I am extremely determined and with your support we can work toegther to beat Cancer.
