FAYE'S JUST GIVING PAGE - SUDEPS AWARENESS

We wish to raise awareness about a condition called "SUDEPS "Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy. Our daughter Faye died aged 33 years of age in September 2018 from this condition.
Our daughter was healthy and had her epilepsy under control with medication and had not suffered a seizure for nearly 5 years.
The day before our daughter died she was in good health and enjoyed the evening with her family, before going to bed that night. Faye died in the early hours and was found face down on the floor. We knew nothing about this condition and although our daughter had been diagnosed with epilepsy since the age of 19 years old, we had not been advised by her doctor or any epilepsy specialist about this serious condition.
We are all still shocked and devastated by the loss of our precious daughter.
We still know very little about SUDEPS but want to raise awareness and hope more research can be done into finding a way to help reduce the 1 in a 1000 young adults with epilepsy who die each year in the UK from this fatal condition and this is the reason we have created this JUSTGIVING PAGE.
We would appreciate as much support as possible so that hopefully one day other parents do not have to go through the loss of a loved one in this way.
