Each year 450 UK children are diagnosed with brain cancer. Among these there is a tumour so aggressive that there is NO effective treatment or a CURE - Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma or DIPG. Responsible for 80% of all brain tumour death we raise vital research funds to give hope to DIPG families.

Story

In February 2013 Finlay Marriott, one of the brightest stars in our lives was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour. Over the next 12 months he put up an incredible fight against his illness. His determination and positivity throughout this time was truly amazing but tragically on 27th January 2014 he passed away.

As a tribute to him and in order to hopefully raise money for Abbie’s Army and Finlay’s Fighters, a charity which helps other children with brain tumours and funds crucial research into DIPG tumours, we are attempting to climb the 3 highest mountains in Britain (Snowdon, Scafel and Ben Nevis) using pedal power to cycle between them.

The challenge which we are aiming to complete in four days, will involve around 15 to 18 hours trekking up and down mountains, 450 miles of cycling, probably not enough sleep and sore legs / rear ends.

So please help us to raise awareness for other children fighting DIPG. For more information on  Finlay's story and to find out what amazing work this charity does, visit www.abbiesarmy.co.uk
