310,000 Steps in March 2022

310,000 Steps in March · 1 March 2022 to 31 March 2022 ·
At some point in our lives we’ve all been touched by anxiety, depression or even thoughts of finding an emergency exit from life - through a family member or close friend, if not ourselves.
Being able to talk to an empathetic stranger, without any pre-conceived ideas about you or any judgement, can sometimes make all the difference.
As can walking. It’s not always easy but when we’re at our lowest ebb wanting to hide away in a closet, going out for a long walk can really help.
Which is why I'm taking on the Samaritans 310,000 Steps in March challenge to help make sure there's someone there for anyone who needs to talk. Whether you donate £5 or £500, your donation means a lot to me and could answer the call for help that saves someone's life. There's more information about Samaritans and their lifesaving work below.
Thank you for your support, please give what you can 🙏
Every seven seconds, Samaritans answer a call for help. We're here, day or night, for anyone who's struggling to cope, who needs someone to listen without judgement or pressure.
Samaritans is not only for moments of crisis, we take action to prevent crisis. We give people ways to cope and the skills to be there for others. Every life lost to suicide is a tragedy, our vision is that fewer people die by suicide.
That's why we work tirelessly to reach more people and make suicide prevention a priority.
