Despite the ups and downs of being seventeen and living with a control freak of a middle aged mother, my wonderful sons are joining me in this 10k run.

The money raised this year will go towards providing a new HandyVan service in the Leeds and West Yorkshire area. As we are only too aware, our older population are more likely to be victims of burgulary and bogus caller crimes. These crimes can have devastating effects, particularly on older victims. The HandyVan service has helped more than 140,000 older people feel safer by installing safety and security devices int heir homes.

With your help more isolated older people in our area can be offered this lifeline.
