The first FIREFLEAS RIDE will take place in Richmond Park around the Tamsin Trail on the morning of Sunday 10th October 2010. Meeting point is Sheen Gate Car Park at 9.30 for 10am.   THE FIREFLEAS has been launched as a young schools initiative to mirror THE FIREFLIES TOUR in aid of Leuka.        

The Ride will mark the 10th Anniversary of THE FIREFLIES TOUR, the gruelling annual 1000km ride across the Alps from Geneva to Cannes by individuals from the advertising and film industries who have raised over £1million in aid of Leuka, which funds vital research into the cure for Leukaemia and all other cancers at The Catherine Lewis Centre at Hammersmith Hospital.

Catherine Lewis died tragically from Leukaemia at the age of 26 and her four nephews and nieces are currently pupils at The Harrodian School.   Ex.
