Fit for Kings - 12 months:120km

Fit for Kings - 120km · 16 November 2015
I suffer from a chronic autoimmune disease called Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis, which affects the bile ducts and the liver. On an everyday basis it can cause fatigue and general ill health, but ultimately it will probably result in me needing a liver transplant.
King's College Hospital has looked after me since the disease caused me to become seriously unwell in 2013, they cared for me in the Liver ICU, in the liver wards, and they continue to look after me as an outpatient today. King's has given me so much, and has looked after so many people like me, I want to give something back to them.
So the plan is to raise money for King's Liver Unit and awareness for Organ Donation while I'm healthy enough to do so, and I'd like your help!
The idea is to complete a run of at least 10km every month of 2016. I've chosen to do multiple races throughout the year, because completing a marathon or half marathon is something I'd really struggle to complete with my illness. Whereas 12 runs, spread throughout the year is a more achievable target.
Running only 10km also means that more of you will be able to help me out, because I don't want to run alone! I'd like you to run with me, if you can, and encourage people you know to donate to this page and raise the final total as high as possible.
Hopefully I'll see you at a race or two, and hopefully you'll help me by donating or getting friends and family to donate, so I can raise as much as I can, for a charity and an institution that means a lot to me.
