Muscular Dystrophy UK is the charity bringing individuals, families and professionals together to beat muscle-wasting conditions.

Story

It has been over 10 years since my brother James passed away from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy  and I thought that the time was right to do something to help other sufferers and their families.

Since I started running I have always wanted to do a marathon - that is until I started training and realised how hard it will be!!  Although on the positive side I have gained some rather fetching black toenails (and  toes!).  This is a once in a lifetime event for me and I just hope that I can finish.  This sponsorship plea is a bit last minute because I have only just recovered from an injury I got at Silverstone half marathon in March so watch out for me trailing the man in the deep sea divers suit!

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Muscular Dystrophy Campaign will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
