Story
Miriam O'Drisceoil had been living with cancer for over nine years when she sadly died on 15th April 2020. She was an amazing wife, mother, sister, daughter, teacher, friend to so many she met throughout the course of her life. Such a vibrant, kind, thoughtful and caring person, Mir was an inspiration.
During her long illness, Miriam availed of the support and services of the wonderful Cork ARC Cancer Support House and this charity always held a special place for her.
We met Miriam playing Bridge over 20 years ago and her friendship greatly enriched our lives. We have created this page to raise funds for the important work of Cork ARC Cancer Support House. All donations will go directly to ARC House in memory of Miriam. A Special Wreath will be floated in Cape Clear (a place very dear to her heart) at a family memorial where her ashes will be scattered by her husband Diarmuid and her family.
In recognition of the support that Mir received from ARC House during her long illness, we would appreciate if you could donate whatever you can by using the "Donate" button. The more people that know about Cork ARC Cancer Support House, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing this page with your friends and family.
Thank you, in loving memory of Miriam.
From her Bridge Friends
