Thank you for visiting our Fundraising page for the Darren Quinn Memorial Football Match.

The match, which takes place at 3.00pm on Bank Holiday Monday 4th May 2009 marks the 10th Anniversary of Quinny's death and will see his old team mates from the White Horse Alexander and Golden Cross Alexander battle it out at Burnham Football Club, a place where he also played for many years.

After the match, we will be holding an evening celebration in the upstairs bar, for friends and family to share a few beers and laughs, where there will be a buffet and a raffle with some great prizes on offer.

All proceeds from the day will be donated to SANDS, who conduct research and offer support for parents and their families whose babies are stillborn or die soon after birth. This is a charity particularly close to my heart as our baby son Teddy died last year soon after being born and I know Quinny would be more than happy to support this cause.
