Foundation Human Nature (fhn) is an international NGO dedicated to providing community development based on health. We started in 2001 with a group of like-minded volunteers.

We currently operate 3 large projects in Ecuador, Ghana and Nepal.

In 2018, I volunteered at the Ghana project and I was privileged to get a great insight into how fhn works and the service they provide. One of fhn’s main goals is on sustainability and to this end we try and resource all our staff locally, and/or train up local boys and girls to fulfil needed health roles.

With literally no overheads, every penny of money you donate will go towards improving the lives of many thousands of poor farmers whom fhn serves with is community projects. These include 24/7 healthcare, alternate energy, education etc. 

Over the last 2 years fhn has been able to sink 9 bore holes in the villages it serves. Prior to this people were having to walk up to 2 km to collect water from muddy pools. 

FHN has now started to support local schools and teachers to provide education for all the local communities it serves.
