Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

The Rotary Club of Salisbury is holding its 5th Charity Swimathon at the Godolphin School Pool on Saturday 28th March 2009, I am very proud to be Captain of Phoenix Chix.

Thanks to the generosity of our Sponsors and the efforts of all the Teams, the event has raised £46,857 so far. With your help we are determined to break the £60,000 barrier after this year, for the following deserving Charities: -

1/The Salisbury Women's Refuge which provides a safe home for up to twelve women and their dependent children.

2/The Wiltshire Air Ambulance which is entirely dependent upon public support to raise £350,000 a year to keep the service flying, this is only one quarter of the running costs of the helicopter; Wiltshire Police funds the remainder.

3/Samaritans of Salisbury and District which works for persons who are suicidal, despairing or in distress. The Salisbury office will receive over 40,000 calls per year.

4/Other Charities supported by Salisbury Rotary Club and Rotary International.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Rotary Club of Salisbury Charitable Fund gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now.

Many thanks for your support.
