Firstly, THANK YOU for helping in our cause to help those less fortunate than ourselves.

For those of you who are SO caring that you will donate no matter what, or just don't care for a boring story (we love either!), you don't have to read on... just give us ALL your money... or in the unlikely event of this, just as much as you can afford!

For those of you now reading on, get a life. No we joke. I feel you need a reason as to why we're doing this, and It's selfishness. On my part anyway (Andrew). A few of you may know that I have had 2 mini stokes (TIAs) which came as a bit of a shock for someone of my age and well-being. But I'm one of the lucky ones that has had no adverse effects... that I know of anyway. I'm also lucky enough to have a good network of friends and family around me (who will ALL donate loads!), who all made the news that bit easier.

However this isn't the case for everyone. They may be affected in a variety of ways, some unable to work and others struggling to perform simple tasks that we take for granted. As well as this they may not have a support network of friends and family, or anyone to talk to for that matter. This is where our choice of charity, Different Strokes comes in to bridge this gap and offer a solution.
