Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page.
Just imagine a life where your body couldn't :
* Process digested food.
* Combat infections.
* Store iron, vitamins and any other essential chemicals.
* Not break down food and turn it into energy.
These are some of the 500+ things the liver can do.
Some people don't have these luxuries which we all take for granted as they have Liver Failure or Liver Disease.
This is why 11 of us are doing a parachute jump for The British Liver Trust to help them raise vital funds.
£45 will fund The British Liver Trust Patient Enquiry Officer for an hour, to provide valuable advice and support to people diagnosed with liver diseas.
£50 will provide 75 people with detailed information booklets about their conditions.
£125 will help run a liver patient support group for a month.
£220 will keep the British Liver Trust website in operation for a day, allowing over 1000 people to access much needed reliable information about liver disease.
£325 will run the British Liver Trust Patient Helpline for a day, providing on average 15 people affected by liver disease with essential information, practical and emotional support.
If you could help us raise awareness or donate anything no matter how big or small we would be extremely grateful
Thankyou
Gary
