Our mate Carys could spit chat, she excelled academically, she wowed the world of media with her creative acumen by producing and developing incredible documentaries for the BBC and Channel 4, she had pure comedic genius, she travelled most of the globe solo, she selflessly gave 6 months to volunteer with the VSO in Hounslow and Kazakhstan (really), she never judged (and if she did, it was only ever for a laugh), she led by example. During her life and in her untimely death she has influenced our lives like no other. Her last written words to us all were 'grab life by both hands as you never know how long you've got to play'...and, with a slight re-phrasing, we are going to do just that. Starting from now.

We are friends of Carys Morgan. We aim to channel our 'Carysma' by coming together, challenging ourselves with new experiences and adventures, cultivating our friendships, and living courageously with good humour and fun as our friend did. All of this will be done throughout our remaining years in order to raise lots of money for St John's Hospice & cancer research charities in loving memory of our super duper trooper.
