Snowdonia Charity Challenge · 6 July 2013 ·

Regain is the only charitable organisation dedicated solely to improving the independence of all British men & women who have become tetraplegic as a result of a sporting or leisure accident. A tetraplegic is unable to walk and has limited reach & dexterity because use of the arms is severely impaired.

Story

Fuel is preparing to take part in one of our toughest charity challenges to date. On the 6 July three teams will be climbing Snowdon, cycling 40 miles and canoeing on Llyn Gwynant to raise a minimum of £6000 for the charity Regain. Regain raises funds to support men and women who have been paralysed in sporting accidents, and is the only charity dedicated solely to offering practical and emotional support in this way.

12 challengers will face a gruelling day, starting with a 20 mile cycle ride then on foot for an ascent to the top of Wale’s highest mountain. Back on the bikes we'll cycle 10 miles to the canoe section at Llyn Gywnant, leaving the lake to start the vicious climb to Pen y Gwryd. Finally the descent and the final dash for the finish line!

We're asking everyone to donate whatever they can to help us reach our target. Thank you!
