Team: Remembering Ben Daniels

In memory of Ben Daniels
Donations cannot currently be made to this page
Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In July myself and a mixed group of friends will be cycling the 1000 miles from John O'Groats to Lands End in just 10 days!! It is going to be an enormous challenge for all of us but we are doing it for a fantastic collection of charities and any help you can give will be a huge lift to all of us.

Just over a year ago Ben Daniels collapsed and died while playing football, he was only 15! Every week 12 young people die in this very preventable way. I have heard a lot about Ben and the courage and inspiration that his parents and sister have shown in this time, and I could not help but be moved by this and the cause for which they are now fighting so strongly.

This is why I will be raising money for C-R-Y, so that they can continue their fantastic work into screening young people and helping those affected by these condidtions. So please support me and the team as we embark on the months of training and 10 days of saddle induced aches and pains for a fantastic cause.

You can follow the teams fundraising progress on our page below and also track our training and event progress at http://mhpjogle.wordpress.com/ Thank you for your support!
