Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Hi there!

It's been ten years since Kay Hall, my mum, was killed by a stroke. She'd battled amazingly back to fitness after her first stroke in 1996, but the second one was devastating. She died very uncomfortably, actually painfully, without speech or most of her motor-skills. I wish the Stroke Associstion had been there to support mum, the victim and us, her family as they do more widely today.

Please give up a few quid so in the future, victims and families can recieve much needed support, and research into treatment and cure can continue.

I know mum'd give me a tenner, so you'll have to in her stead.

Thanks,

G
