<p>Since 1971 Magpas has treated over 25,000 people. People who through no fault of their own became seriously injured or ill and needed help.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Sometimes people are just unlucky.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></p>
<p><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">Now we need your help to survive financially and give people the best chance of life.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Magpas Helimedix provide expert volunteer teams of doctors and paramedics who respond across East Anglia during day and night to reach people like <a href="http://www.huntspost.co.uk/news/latest-news/become_one_in_a_million_for_magpas_urges_injured_schoolgirl_1_724102?action=register">Debbie, who was a girl walking home from school</a>, or people like <a href="http://www.wisbechstandard.co.uk/news/fenland_motorcyclist_backs_magpas_fundraising_campaign_1_725519">Mark, who was riding his motorbike home after work</a>.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The actions of our highly trained teams mean these people and many others like them are still around.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Sometimes the team will respond by helicopter, or by car, it doesn’t matter as long as we reach the patient.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>We support the Ambulance service by bringing A&E level skills and experience to help them treat the poor person at the middle of the unluckiest moment of their life.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We desperately need money to continue our life saving work.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Over 5.5 million people are within reach of our team if they unfortunately need them, so if everyone gave just £1 we can continue making a real difference.</p>
