Lee's "One Way or Another" we will beat MND page

Lee Millard is raising money for Motor Neurone Disease Association

One way or another we will beat MND · 3 March 2016

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Wow, my June event in 2016 was so much fun. It is now a year since the gig. I am still here and raising money. We have raised over £11,000 so far. This page will remain open until we find a cure! Please please donate.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my just giving page.

My name is Lee Millard. In 2014 at the age of 51 I was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease.

In the time since being diagnosed, I have learnt a lot about the disease. Importantly MND is not as rare as perceived. I found that the lifetime risk for any one of us is about 1 in 400!!

MND has no cure, and sufferers typically live between 2 and 5 years.

We will beat MND, and the MNDA are the only organisation in the UK supporting sufferers through Care, Research and Awareness.

I will use this site and my fight back fund "One Way or Another" to raise as much as possible through events and whatever ideas come to mind whilst I am still able.

I write a weekly, I believe entertaining blog, www.onein400.com about my life, which is largely fun. Take a look at my archives onein400.com/archives and enjoy.

Please donate what you can. I will keep writing my blog, which I am sure you will enjoy.  Please come back for updates.
