Story

Thanks for visiting my page!

I’m using the Captain Tom 100 challenge as an opportunity to do something other than the usual Facebook birthday fundraiser!

On Saturday 1st of May I’m going to be doing 100 laps ‘around the block’ near where I live. Each lap is a little over 0.2 miles, so I’ll be walking at least 20 miles in one day!

This is a big challenge for me and easily the most exercise I’ll ever do in one day. I rarely get my daily 10,000 steps so this is going to be a huge effort, but I really want to push myself and do a challenge that is rewarding and hopefully impressive enough for you to donate!

I’m fundraising for Secret World Wildlife Rescue. There’s a reason why I spend the best part of 40 hours a week working as a fundraiser for them: they are simply amazing at what they do and set the standard for all wildlife rehabilitators around the UK. Animal welfare is at the heart of everything they do and most people will know how important that is to me.

Donate if you think this is a tough challenge, or if you want to help around 5,000 wild animals a year. Your kind support  will keep me going on what is going to be a very long day!
