We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

Every 3 minutes, someone develops dementia and is now the UK's biggest killer.

At Blackhawk Network we believe we can support this great cause by raising much needed funds to support not only the research, but also those family and friends out in our communities.

Cyclescheme is provided by Blackhawk to many employers and subsequently employees in the UK and it is therefore fitting that we are celebrating our partnership and launch of Love to Ride and in celebration of the upcoming Cycle to Work day in August.

We have 2 brave teams about to embark on a 100+ mile communicate between Bath and our UK head office in Apsley.

Our teams of mixed levels of experience will set off, on a mixture of ebikes and conventional bikes at 6.30am on the 25th July and anticipate arriving in Apsley between 2pm and 5pm.   Well done to the employees participating for either all of the journey or part of, its all about giving it a go!

Please help us recognise the team members for doing this as well as raise much needed funds towards this growing cause.

Thank you so much.

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
