We offer expert care, guidance and support to people living with a terminal illness

Story

I plan to run 1,000 kilometers in 2011 (in 2010 I managed 500).

So far I have ran in the Meadows Half Marathon, the Kilomathon (26.2km) and the Edinburgh Marathon.

Next big races are the Great Scottish run (half marathon) and the Loch Ness Marathon. I had to pull out of the Loch Ness marathon due to injury but I am back to full fitness again !

You can follow my progress on my blog : http://www.rossgoodman.com/tag/1000k/

----------------------------------

My eldest daughter Emma was diagnosed with Motor Nurone Disease (MND or ALS) and passed away in 2008 aged 17. In the last few years of her life we were all supported by Marie Curie Cancer Care nurses who cared for Emma overnight and provided help and support for periods during the day.

These fantastic nurses went above and beyond what we could have expected from them so please give generously and help them to provide excellent care to other families.
