Story

Latest News!  Well, the plan was to run 100 miles inside 24 hours starting on Thursday 19th November to raise £10,000 for World Vision.  In the end it took me a few hours more than planned but I did it!!!  Enduring Stavanger's largest rainfall in a 24 hour period since records began played a small part in the run taking longer than planned.

Jelly Legs.  I said I wouldn't stop until I'd completed the 100 miles ... regardless of blisters, lost toenails or jelly legs! Unsurprisingly I did get some rather impressive blisters, I only look like losing one toenail though but definitely got 2 jelly legs, sore ankles and some rather intimate chaffing!!  Enough said I think?!

Thank you!  The support I received was fantastic and I'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped out.  My support team, all the well wishers, the people who joined me for a lap or 2, the people who brought along food, everyone who made a donation ... you made such a positive difference, thank you so much.

Still not too late to donate!  My aim remains to raise £100 for every mile I ran and hence £10,000 in total.  Although I'm well on the way I'm still not there yet.  Donating is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate your money will be sent directly to World Vision (if you're a UK taxpayer Gift Aid will be reclaimed as well).  Please donate now and dig as deep as you can!

Thank you to the team at BAM Bamboo Clothing who sponsored the event both financially and with clothing.  Why not visit their website at www.bambooclothing.co.uk  By quoting promotional code 100in24 you'll receive a 10% discount and a donation of 10% of your order value will be made to World Vision.  BAM is an innovative clothing company with a refreshing ethical policy and tree planting programme, plus excellent bamboo clothing!
