Myself (Leia) and Pete have decided to take on a personal challenge to run 100k in 100days in support of Home-Start CHAMS.

Home-Start CHAMS are a small, local charity supporting families with young children where the parents are experiencing difficulties or struggling to cope. The supported families can need help for so many different reasons such as, isolation, abuse, financial hardship, disability, mental health, bereavement or multiple births - and when parents are struggling, children in the family also suffer and the effects of this can last for a lifetime. 

Their work with families, within their own homes, has a proven, lasting, positive impact on the development of the children and the health and welfare of the whole family.  Last year they helped 379 local children and their families.
