Recently our friend Tom Walker found out he has a brain tumour that has spread to his spine. Tom is currently in hospital and unfortunately paralysed from the waist down. He and his family are battling very bravely but support for families like the Walkers is much needed.

Tom's old university friends are looking to help raise money by completing an epic endurance walk which will total over 100km in less than 24 hours. Our aim is to raise £10,000 for The Brain Tumour Charity (nominated by Tom).

We plan to create a high profile twitter campaign with associated website. As sponsors come on board their name would be added to the front page of the website and will be given exposure in the media (if they chose to). 

The charity walk will begin in Tom's former RugbyClub, Llandovery, at approximately 19:00hrs on Friday 1st December and end at the Celtic Manor Resort, Newport the following evening, Saturday 2nd December.

As if 100km isn't hard enough... the team also plan to walk across the Brecon Beacons and Pen Y Fan in the middle of the night. Then onto Tom's Home and Ystrad Mynach Hospital, ending the final mile with Tom at the Celtic Manor
Resort.
