In July I will be taking on my first ever 100km ultra marathon I am raising money for cancer research UK. I have lost family members to cancer, I've had friends who have lost their battles with cancer, and I know some who are still battling cancer. 

They say 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lives and that is a scary thought. If I can raise even just a small amount of £500 to help the work cancer research UK do into finding cures for this terrible disease then I will be chuffed with that!
