Story
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page dedicated to our baby Spike who we lost 4 years ago.
On 12 May Garth, Quentin, Charlie and Nick will be tackling the London to Brighton 100km Walk (62 miles), aiming to complete it within 24hrs and to raise vital money for ARC (Antenatal Results & Choices). On the same weekend Kaspar will be supporting us with a 10 mile run in Alderney.
Despite being a small charity (receiving less than £80,000 in fundraising last year), ARC provide vital support and information to those parents who receive a worrying screening result or when a fetal anomaly is diagnosed in their unborn baby. ARC deserves all the money they can get to help those parents who, like us before, face such a devastating loss.
Please be generous and dig deep to help us raise money for this supportive charity.
£10 pays for an information & support pack for a bereaved or expectant parent
£20 pays for the website for a day – an essential aid for parents finding themselves having to deal with devastating & life changing decisions about their unborn baby
£50 will give training to a volunteer to provide support to bereaved & anxious parents
£100 will pay for the upkeep of the helpline for one day – often the first point of call for distressed parents
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to ARC and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Your donation really can make a difference!
Many thanks for your support.
Garth & Sammy xx

PS - Since we first registered for this event we were faced with another similar fetal anomaly result at the 12 week scan earlier this year. So sadly we will now be walking in the memory of the two little ones that we lost.
