Story

In 2017 we found ourselves unexpectedly visiting our precious Ashley for the last time at Naomi House. He had passed away peacefully at Southampton General hospital following a short stay. Since that day Naomi House has welcomed us with open arms offering bereavement support, counselling, sibling support, as well as a 24/7 Memory garden for us to visit whenever we want. They have helped and continue to  help us through some exceptionally hard days and for that we will be eternally grateful.

Due to the pandemic they have not been able to hold their usual fundraising initiatives and funding such a place relies mainly on donations. They need our support more than ever! Sooooooo for the month of March I have committed to complete their Run4Respite challenge where I will complete 105 miles during the month or March. Although it’s called Run4Respite I will be doing a mixture of running and walking and tracking my miles daily. This is a personal challenge for me and is pushing me well and truly out of my comfort zone but I’m motivated to do this for such a special place and him Ashley’s memory 💙
