On Sunday 10th September 2023, the 10 Degrees team will be undertaking the Thames Path Ultra Challenge, walking 22km from Cookham to Henley. We're doing this to raise money for the incredible local children's charity, First Days.

First Days have been supporting vulnerable children in our local area for 10 years. Whether its providing essential baby equipment for newborns, school uniforms or practical support and advice for parents who are struggling in various ways, they are a much needed crutch in the community. They also work closely with other local charities and community teams, to help get families access to all the help they need.

The compound impact of the pandemic, refugee support and the cost of living crisis means that, sadly, their services have never been more in demand. During 2022 they supported 7,951 children (up 58% from previous year), gave out 296 beds and mattresses and more than 11,000 items of school uniform.

If you know our team well, you'll know we're not necessarily the fittest or most active of teams (yet!), so this really be quite a challenge for us! But we're looking forward to putting together a training plan and get together for some team walks.
