A group of 11 of us are running the Greenwich Park 5k/10k on Saturday 4th March to raise awareness of and money for Blood Cancer UK in loving memory of our Darryl Guthrie. 

Our Dad, Husband and close friend fought a long and difficult battle with cancer over the last 18 months and sadly passed away on 2nd December 2022. However, without recent advancements in cancer treatments, we would have not been able to have had this time with him. He was always fascinated in the latest development in cancer technology and for that reason we are running for Blood Cancer UK.

Blood Cancer UK is a community dedicated to beating blood cancer. They do this by funding research and supporting those affected. Since 1960, they've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. Right now, this is funding 360 researchers and staff across the UK who are searching for the next breakthrough. This charity is pivotal in beating cancer and one day we will!
