just uploaded a photo that mr. clamp took of us at the end.... mr ireland is missing as he hobbled off (literally) home to put his feet up once he'd finished, and mr prescott's bad back came back to haunt him on saturday :o( - he still came out to support though..... although really he should have been resting!!! I know we all hope that he's feeling better soon.....

Very excited about it :o) Can't believe it's just round the corner..... well done guys on all your hard work - Sunday will be GREAT!!! Thank you to all those who have sponsored us.....

Only THREE Sundays to go!!!! Mr Ireland has already been and done a 6 mile race, although he had very sore legs afterwards - he's going to be FLYING at the Regency 10k :o) Everyone's doing BRILLIANTLY with their training I can't believe just how far everyone's come - I am very proud of them all - it's going to be FAB to see them all at the start line on the 11th April.... Why not come down and support too?? Race starts at 9am, and goes through Newbold Comyn and then heads in to Leamington Spa - would be great to have some support round the course.

We Mandies got off to a slow start......but we have persevered and are now making fabulous progress!  We never thought we would actually say that we ENJOY running.  We have become so confident over the last couple of weeks that we actually train in the daylight rather than after dark!!  Big thank you to Alix for motivating and believing in us.  Please support this wonderful charity......every penny counts :o)

 

BCPS Staff go Running!   Only SEVEN weeks to go!!!! We have been busy training over the last six weeks - venturing out in the darkness, snow, rain and cold... we may not all be running the race - as it's in the Easter holidays - but we have been busy training! Now with the evenings getting lighter there's nowhere to hide!!!

 

A group of staff are training hard for the Regency 10k in Leamington Spa on the 11th April to raise money for Cancer Research.  We try and run from school on a Monday evening, but our training program means we have to go out at least three times a week. Some of us have never run before and have already run further in training than we have done in our life up to now! 

 

Look out for us training round the village.... and it would be GREAT to have lots of support on the day cheering us on.... it's an early start though - the race begins at 9am, and there are plenty of place to watch in Leamington....

 

Hopefully we'll keep updating the page and letting you know of our progress as we get closer to the Big Day!
