10 Toilets for 10 Children at SKSN, a residential school in Rajasthan, India. · 3 December 2017

Indiability is working to improve the ordinary lives, opportunities, and human rights of rural, underprivileged children and youth with physical disabilities in India. Our core mission is this largest minority’s social inclusion into mainstream society, which we achieve through education and sport.

Story

SKSN is a school in Rajasthan, India for children with disabilities.  It is supported by Indiability Foundation.

60% of the children at the school do not have access to a toilet when they go home for holidays. They have to use the fields. This is even tougher for these children as most of them can't walk and they can't use their wheelchairs in the desert areas where they live. As a result they have to wait until their brothers or fathers are able to carry them to the fields.

Our goal is to get 10 toilets built for 10 children with the most severe disabilities by the end of 2018. It will cost £360 for each toilet.  Every time we reach a total of £360 a new toilet will be commissioned.

Anything you can do to raise funds to contribute towards a toilet would be really appreciated. Let me know if you would like to be involved and I can provide further details.

Thank you for being interested in this project.
