Story

On Tuesday 1 September, I'll be starting work as Fundraising Officer with Bradford District Care Trust, helping to raise funds for the Better Lives charity to enhance the fantastic services the Trust delivers, supporting physical and mental wellbeing across our communities.

I'll be working from home as part of the Trust's commitment to limiting the spread of Covid-19, but will be running the equivalent distance of my journey from home to my new workplace at New Mill in Saltaire on each day during my first week in post - that's a 12k a day challenge!

Each day’s route will also take in a location from which the Trust’s services are delivered, so that I can find out a bit more about those services, meet some of our amazing NHS staff, and think about how I can help support the work they do in my new role.

Please support me, and our wonderful NHS - every donation will make me smile as I pound the pavements, and - much more importantly - support community health services across Bradford, Airedale, Craven and Wharfedale.
